Kari Kuhlman

Kari Kuhlman is an RN who has worked with Hiawatha HomeCare August 2007 .  Kari’s role at Hiawatha HomeCare is to oversee day to day operations as the agency’s Administrator.

Kari found her passion for home health care after having taken a leap into a role as a direct care provider having never worked with ventilators or trachs.  The one on one attention, service, and compassion that a nurse is able to provide in the home environment is one of the most rewarding things about being a nurse.  Hiawatha was founded on family values and beliefs and it is what continues to be a driving force in Kari’s day to day role as the Administrator.  Ensuring all of the clients served by Hiawatha have their needs met to the best of our abilities.

Kari has begun her career in 1999 in the health care industry working as a dietary aid for a nursing home in Faribault MN.  From there Kari moved into various roles in the dietary department before taking a chance on becoming a nurses aid in 2001.  Direct care became Kari’s passion.  Kari graduated with a Diploma in Practical Nursing in 2003, her Associates Degree in Professional Nursing in 2007, and her Baccalaureate in Professional Nursing in 2019.   Throughout her career Kari has held CPR instructor certifications with both the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association.

When not at Hiawatha HomeCare Kari enjoys spending time with family, watching her son grow in his passion for the sport of wrestling, watching her daughter grow into an inspirational young woman, decorating her home, shopping, and cooking good food.  Kari also finds herself volunteering time helping the Northfield Wrestling board with its many functions and activities.
