Heather Brantner is a RN Clinical Manager who has worked with Hiawatha HomeCare since July 2018. Heather’s role at Hiawatha HomeCare is to visit clients in their homes to assist with medication management, IV therapies, wound care, and other skilled nursing services. Heather also manages extended hour client cases to collaborate with a care team and provide support to families and staff in the homes.
Heather enjoys working on tailoring care to meet specific client needs in their homes and collaborating with a care team that provides excellent healthcare. She is passionate about keeping clients in their homes where they receive personalized one on one care.
Heather’s background in the healthcare field has been in long-term care. She started working as a CNA in 2007, became a LPN in 2013, and a RN in 2014. Heather studied nursing at Southeast Technical College in Red Wing.
Heather is Wound Care Certified and is also certified as an Interact Champion for quality improvement. Heather enjoys attending conferences to learn new things that help to better serve Hiawatha’s clients.
When not at Hiawatha HomeCare Heather enjoys reading, gardening, baking, and spending time with her husband (Kris), daughter (Hannah), and two dogs (Diver & Jax).
