Annetta Smith is a LPN/Billing Specialist who started working with Hiawatha HomeCare on June 2, 2000.
Annetta’s role at Hiawatha HomeCare is Billing Specialist. She completes authorization requests, audits data and prepares billing forms for submission to the sources who pay for our client’s care.
Annetta is extremely detail-oriented. She enjoys the ability to grow and learn new things to keep up with the ever-changing medical billing realm. She strives to keep everything organized and do what needs to be done to keep things on track and moving forward in our day to day workload.
Annetta has worked in multiple aspects of homecare including Personal care, hospice & complex skilled nursing. Now she excels in the administration side where her background has helped keep her in touch with the dynamics of in-home care as she relates to the issues our nursing staff face on a daily basis.
Annetta holds a LPN License in Both Minnesota & Wisconsin, She graduated with a Practical Nursing Certificate from Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, GA in 1999
When not at Hiawatha HomeCare Annetta enjoys volunteering as a member of her local American Legion Auxiliary, running a food truck with her husband Russell, and spending time with her 2 children, Kiley & Kelton.
