In 1988 Ted saw the need for a homecare agency that could provide consistent tailored care for his then two year old son Michael. With that goal in mind, he worked to incorporate Hiawatha HomeCare.
Due to his employment as a commercial airline pilot, Ted was out of town a lot, and the daily operations were handled by his wife and Michael’s mom, Karen. Ted has since retired from the airlines and juggles his time between family, being a Goodhue County Commissioner, and Industry Liaison for Hiawatha.
Ted works to ensure that Hiawatha maintains compliance with State and Federal licensing and reporting regulations. Ted always enjoys taking the time to talk with clients, nurses, community members, or county constituents.
